A Season

I've been in a season of intense pruning.
At times, the lobs have been so deep, it seemed that all of me was ruining.
Everywhere I go, I seem to see
Evidence of pruning, like what the LORD is doing in me.
John 15:1 and 2
I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

I pray, the harvest of this season, is that I will "bear more and richer and more excellent fruit."
LORD, may my life be so abiding in yours, that I cannot hold sin, not even a root.
I want to "bear more and richer and more excellent fruit."

Lora Lovin....Osburn, that seems to be right where my Maker has me as well. Not fun, but so worth the journey because HE alone is worthy.

Lovingly,
Yolanda

I love how God shows us things in the natural to help us understand the spiritual. Trees grow fuller after they are pruned . B

Our lives and faith are the "fruit" of someone else's good planting; I imagine that we're both planting some seeds along those lines today. My world feels pretty small right now, but I've been continually asking the Lord to help me sow seed in small ways. I've also asked him to keep at my pruning until my fruit yields effective.

Love you. Thanks for stopping by. Thanks for your prayers.

The season of pruning I have been in for a long time and while pruning is often not fun I'm thankful that HE's always pruning us--cutting away that which can hinder us from being all He's purposed and then He imparts more of Himself into us. Isn't the LORD good?! Amen!

Love John 15!! How could we not when our Lord is speaking to us.

Thank you for sharing. Love you!
